Hello, it's nice to meet you

I’m a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Reflexologist based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent and I offer nutrition and reflexology appointments at The Spring Rooms. For nutritional therapy, I also offer online appointments via Zoom, my virtual clinic room. This enables me to consult with clients nationwide - and worldwide.

How did I get here?

As a teenager, I suffered with symptoms of hormonal imbalance such as acne and frequent migraines and then in my twenties, with digestive problems and painful bloating after eating. After seeking help from a nutritional therapy practitioner, I realised my diet wasn’t as healthy as I thought it was and there was a lot of room for improvement! I witnessed first-hand the power of nutritional therapy to address my symptoms, increase my energy levels and improve my overall health and wellbeing. Keen to learn more, I went back to university to study nutrition, and in 2013, after 6 years of study, graduated with my nutrition qualifications and set up my nutritional therapy clinic. I now focus my clinic on working with women in midlife and those struggling with symptoms of perimenopause because as a woman in my 40s, I completely get it!

My first experience of reflexology was when I was 25 years old. Suffering with hormonal imbalance and problems with my menstrual cycle, I went to see a reflexologist after hearing about the benefits from a friend. I was hooked! I continued to have reflexology treatments at various times in my life when I felt my hormones needed some love. I always wanted to learn reflexology to be able to support the health of my family and offer an additional therapy to my clients. Finally in 2024, I achieved my goal and qualified as a reflexologist!

In addition to my private practice, I'm a volunteer Reflexologist for The Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre in Tunbridge Wells, providing reflexology treatments to support people living with cancer. To find out more, please contact me orThe Pickering Centre directly.

My qualifications

I have a BSc. (Hons) degree in Nutritional Health from the University of Greenwich and a diploma in Nutritional Therapy with Clinical Practice from the UK College of Nutrition and Health (BCNH). I have a Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology for Wellbeing from the Maureen Burgess School of Reflexology. I’m a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and Association of Reflexologists (AoR), and am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) - accredited register recommended by the Department of Health for complementary and natural healthcare services.

I spent 4 years working as the Practice Governance Manager for my nutrition professional body, the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT). This required writing and implementing professional practice guidelines in all areas of nutrition practice and supporting BANT members in adhering to them, to promote high standards. My extensive knowledge of these guidelines helps to ensure I too practise safely, lawfully and ethically, to the highest possible standards. I regularly attend Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events that allow me to keep up-to-date with the latest evidence-based research and developments in nutrition and lifestyle sciences and reflexology.
